Located at the intersection of Rose and Elm Avenues, the new mission critical Category IV facility replaces the existing Fire Station No. 2, which was constructed in the 1950s. The state-of-the-art new station features a hardened structure, individual bunk rooms, and three drive-through apparatus bays. JEMA’s design for the exterior is a modern interpretation of the surrounding residential gable forms. The material palette of brick and limestone mirrors that of the original Webster Groves City Hall and Fire Station No. 1.
