Webster Groves Fire Station No. 2 Nears Completion

Construction is nearing completion on Webster Groves Fire Station No. 2.  Located at the intersection of Rose and Elm Avenues, this new mission critical Category IV building will replace the existing Fire Station No. 2, which was constructed in the 1950s. The new station features a hardened structure, individual bunk rooms, and three drive-through apparatus bays. The exterior is a modern interpretation of the surrounding residential gable forms. The material palette of brick and limestone mirrors that of the original City Hall and Fire Station No. 1.
