WELCOME…THE 2020 CLASS OF JEMATES

Despite the many challenges of 2020, we’re thankful that this year has brought a number of talented new team members to JEMA. Their diverse backgrounds have furthered strengthened our firm as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary and look optimistically towards 2021.

We wish a very warm WELCOME to Denise, Tonny, Sandy, Angela, Suzanne & Rachel.

 

Denise LeBegue, Controller

Denise joined JEMA in early January, with over 20 years of accounting experience in various industries, most recently for a mid-sized contracting company. She is responsible for the firm’s financial and human resources operations, and plays an integral role in company growth through process improvement.

 

Tonny Jun, Project Manager

Tonny joined the team in February, bringing over 20 years of experience across diverse project types including industrial, multifamily, medical, hospitality, retail & recreation. He has the ability to develop projects from conceptual site planning through contract administration and has a passion for creating realistic renderings and cinematic animations.

 

Sandy Chiu, Interior Designer

Sandy joined JEMA in February, with over 13 years of interior design experience across workplace, restaurant, higher education, retail and multifamily sectors. She collaborates closely with project teams to lead interior design efforts firm-wide.

Angela Rodriguez, Architect

Angela joined JEMA in May with over three decades of experience across a variety of project types. In her most recent role, Angela produced and supervised the production of construction documents for projects including an elementary school, an early learning center, a college library, and a multi-family mixed use project. Her diverse background also includes grocery, restaurant and retail design.

Suzanne Hayes, Architect

Suzanne joined JEMA in June, bringing over 15 years of experience in the education and healthcare markets, with a primary focus on interior architecture. In her most recent role, she managed two large (over $100 million) acute care hospital projects as the lead Project Architect. Suzanne is skilled across all project phases, from preliminary design through construction administration and close-out.

Rachel Reinhard, Architectural Designer & Urban Designer

Rachel joined JEMA as an Intern in 2018 and became a full-time team member in August 2020 after receiving a dual Masters of Architecture and Masters of Urban Design from Washington University in St Louis. She brings a skill set in residential design, fabrication, exhibition design and visualization. Her most recent accolades include the 2020 AIA Henry Adams Medal and 2020 Urban Design Book Award.
