JEMA Wins AIA St. Louis Merit Award
The AIA St. Louis has named JEMA the winner of the Merit in Architecture Award for Valley Park Fire Station No. 2. Industry leaders presented this prestigious award to the JEMA project team in an awards ceremony last evening. Also the recipient of an award was Raha Mahmoudi who received the Merit in Drawings Award for her piece entitled “Brutally Exposed.”
The AIA St. Louis Design Awards program recognizes outstanding achievements in all areas of design, construction and craftmanship. This is JEMA’s fifth AIA St. Louis award win. Previous wins include Rockwell Beer Company, Ranken’s Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center, JEMA’s HQ, and the Glendale Fire Station – the first fire station in St. Louis history to receive an AIA award.
