St Charles Fire Station No. 2 Nears Completion

St. Charles Fire Station No. 2 is nearly complete. The new 15,000 sq. ft. fire station is a Category IV structure designed specifically to remain operational after a natural disaster. The new station includes 3 drive-through apparatus bays, 6 individual bunk suites and a fitness center. This project is part of the city’s big picture plan to improve its mission critical facilities, which include Fire Station No. 3 and the police headquarters.
