Valley Park Fire Breaks Ground

There was a lot of celebrating going on as Valley Park Fire Protection District’s broke ground on their new Fire Station No. 2. The 22,000 sq. ft. Category IV, Mission Critical facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021.

The design is inspired by the integration of the District’s program and the sloping site. The building is “built into” the hill and slopes downward as does the slope of the site. The high point of the site is also the high point of the building.
