Groceries in a Mansion

JEMA’s design for a new grocer on the ground floor of the Mansion House in St. Louis respects the Modernist aesthetic, while creating additional retail space by extending a new glass storefront towards the city sidewalk on the building’s south end. The northern section of the storefront remains in place and the covered outdoor area becomes a mini-farmer’s market.
