Next Gen’s Headquarters Nearing Completion

The construction of Next Gen’s new St. Louis corporate headquarters is nearing completion. The 50,000 sq. ft. office space has a unique design element that connects the entire office space. It is a 450 foot long Main Street where collisions are encouraged.

The street runs the length of the building and connects three different levels. The entry and all the offices, workstations, break rooms, and conference rooms are connected to Main Street. The idea of a main street, where people collide with each other throughout the day, is a simple but essential one. As we become more and more encased in our own technology bubbles, the need for real interaction and collaboration in the workplace becomes even more important. The action is on Main Street: associates, managers and senior executives all walk Main Street. Watch out: collisions are encouraged!
