Another Ranken Ribbon-Cutting
JEMA congratulates Ranken Technical College on its second ribbon-cutting in less than a month. This time, the new facility is the 30,500 sq. ft. Rodenheiser West Technology Center designed by JEMA.
A special feature of the new building is the campus-wide rain garden. JEMA designed the rain garden to not only mitigate and clean stormwater, but also as a campus amenity. The rain garden features staggered paving that allows students to traverse the area while still maintaining the previous area requirements. Staggered walls act as benches making the whole rain garden a green oasis that extends Ranken’s “mall” creating an outdoor destination for staff and students alike.
