
STLCC Hosts Women in Manufacturing Day
St. Louis Community College recently hosted its inaugural Women in Manufacturing Day at the Florissant Valley campus, welcoming students and industry partners for a hands-on look at careers in advanced manufacturing.
The event highlighted workforce development opportunities and featured tours of the Advanced Manufacturing Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed by JEMA. The center supports hands-on training, collaboration, and career readiness across a range of manufacturing and technical programs.
Women in Manufacturing Day reinforced STLCC’s commitment to expanding access to STEM and skilled trades education while showcasing the role of purpose-driven design in supporting future workforce needs.
