Learning by Post-Occupancy Touring

Steve Hoover gave his fellow JEMAtes a tour of JEMA’s latest projects, St. Charles Fire House #2 and #3. JEMA’s designs replaced the existing legacy fire stations with new mission critical facilities that provide modern state-of-the-art technology and functionality. Each fire station is designed for the specific needs of the fire department and the specific context of the neighborhoods. Each facility features drive-through apparatus bays, living quarters with individual bunk rooms, offices, commercial-grade kitchens, and a fitness center.
