The new Student Library at St. Louis Community College’s Florissant Valley Campus transforms a former shop space into a 14,000-square-foot academic hub for learning, research, and collaboration. A light-filled entry lobby and prominent circulation desk create a welcoming arrival, leading to a grand reading room at the heart of the library.
A mix of individual and group study rooms, computer workstations, conference spaces, and collection areas supports a range of student needs. The adaptive reuse approach makes thoughtful use of an existing campus structure while incorporating modern infrastructure to support evolving technology and flexible learning for years to come.
