JEMA Wins 2025 F.I.E.R.O. Honors Award
JEMA has received the 2025 F.I.E.R.O. (Fire Industry Education Resource Organization) Honors Award, the highest recognition given by the national program. The award celebrates innovation and excellence in fire service design, recognizing facilities that not only meet the critical needs of first responders but also strengthen their connection to the community. Winning the top honor for St. Charles Fire Station #2 underscores JEMA’s commitment to designing mission-critical facilities that elevate both safety and civic identity.
The 9,400 sq. ft. station features three drive-through apparatus bays, private bunk suites, modern living quarters, and a fitness center. With a mid-century modern design contextual to the surrounding neighborhood, the station embodies community pride.
