JEMA Tours Pulitzer Museum

JEMA recently visited the “Untold Stories: When What’s Left Behind Isn’t What Remains” exhibit at the St. Louis Pulitzer Museum. Exploring the Urban Archaeology exhibit offered a unique perspective on lost buildings in St. Louis. The tour blended the presentation of architecture with narrative, history, and culture. Michael Allen, director of the National Building Arts Center, offered his insights into the untold stories adding an extra layer of fascination.

[A brick] is not just a single unit that lays up in a wall, it is something that helps build a society and then reflects on how that society is changing.”
