Ground Breaking Ceremony Kicks Off New Era For Ballwin Police

Excitement filled the air as the Ballwin Police Department “broke ground” on its new state-of-the-art headquarters in Ballwin, MO.  The ceremony signals the kickoff of construction on a world-class facility that will serve the police department and the community for years to come.  JEMA’s design for the three-story building features offices, evidence storage, dispatch/intake/booking facilities, meeting and training rooms, K-9 facilities, a fitness center, and secure staff parking.  The material palette is a balance of organic and industrial elements that symbolize the unity between the Ballwin Police Department and the community it serves.  The stone is representative of stability and strength, and the wood elements offer an air of warmth and welcome to the community.  Taking advantage of the building’s solar orientation to the North, JEMA’s design will flood various spaces with natural light.

The new police station is anticipated to open 1st quarter 2023.
