Northeast Fire Protection District Cuts Their Ribbon

Congratulations to Northeast Ambulance and Fire Protection District on their ribbon-cutting! Their new, 30,000 sq. ft. facility opened last week.

Northeast Ambulance and Fire Protection District is one of St. Louis’ busiest districts, serving over 17 municipalities. JEMA designed the building for speed–with two fire poles and two stairs leading directly to the apparatus bay–and safety. The lower level contains a “safe haven” area for the community during natural disasters and the structure is hardened in accordance with the IBC’s Essential Facility requirments.
