Maryville University is proposing to build a 3,000-seat Esports venue, student residence hall and retail space in Town and Country. The new state-of-the-art venue will serve as the official home of Maryville’s Esports Varsity Team and will feature training rooms, broadcasting areas, production spaces, and a tournament space. The project will help raise Maryville’s status in the multibillion-dollar Esports industry while helping to grow the sport locally. The facility will also serve sports like wrestling, volleyball and basketball. JEMA is leading the architectural design and is collaborating with Populous as Esports consultant and interior architects.
