Real Dispensary

The concept behind JEMA’s design for Real Cannabis is to change the perception of the typical dispensary and create an elevated experience. We envisioned a wood facade that gave off an earthy feel. This simple wood and glass volume emerges from a field of native plantings. Inside, you are greeted by a palette of warm wood and sleek metal accentuated by pops of the company’s brand color. The hexagonal shapes of the viewing windows and bar tiles are a nod to the chemical structure behind the products. Glass-encased, illuminated plants are feature pieces to the “mini-educational hubs” where patrons can learn about certain strains on provided iPads. Overhead is a cylindrical glass installation that acts as an artistic focal piece and lighting fixture. Customers can also have a seat the the main bar where they could browse a menu and be assisted by a bud tender.
