St. Charles City Centre Complex Breaks Ground

The new St. Charles City Hall has officially broken ground as part of the larger City Centre Complex development. This 75,000-square-foot facility will bring city services together under one roof, making them more accessible to residents. Located in the historic American Car and Foundry area, the design is a new steel and timber structure that is integrated into the existing 1906 Rail Car Warehouse. The new city hall revitalizes the historic structures of the ACF while providing modern functionality and aesthetics that reflect the 21st Century.

The project is set to be completed by the end of 2026.
