ARE YOU IN THE GRO(O)VE?

JEMA’s design for a new multi-family building on Hunt Avenue in the Grove in St. Louis, MO is a contextual response to the adjacent City Greens Market garden. As the building goes up it also steps back creating spacious outdoor balconies, but also giving space and light to the existing garden. The material palette is a study in contrasts with black brick being highlighted by maple wood panels.
