A FUSION OF INDUSTRIAL & ORGANIC
JEMA’s design for Rockwell Beer Company’s new brewery is taking shape. The design concept is showcasing and fusing the two seemingly disparate aspects of crafting beer: the industrial and the organic. Beer is product of industrial processes utilizing organic materials: science and artistry bring together stainless steel and grains to create the treasured beverage.
The industrial aspect of the design is symbolized by the shipping containers and a gantry crane. The organic aspect of the design is symbolized by planks of white oak that are harvested from the actual Foeder barrel making process and extensive native landscaping.
