ARE YOU BRINGING JOY?

“What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

This is one of my favorite statements by Emerson. Apart from being America’s philosopher, Emerson was one of the world’s greatest naturalists. He understood that our experiences (including our productive experience (work)) is, at its most fundamental level, driven by our internal world. And the state of our internal world determines the quality of our experiences.

At JEMA, we are driven by this philosophy and in its simplest form, our mission is to bring joy to those we work with. Our annual retreat took place again in a rural acreage where we all took part in refreshing our internal selves and bringing joy to others.
