Volpi Flagship Store Begins Construction

JEMA’s design for Volpi’s flagship store is under construction. The store’s new design was recently featured in the St. Louis Post Dispatch, check out the article “Volpi store on the Hill closed for remodeling” for more.

Our own Jon McKee was quoted in the piece as saying “the result would be a modern look respectful of the place where Volpi and Armando Pasetti worked the counter. … The idea is not to go back to the way it looked but to bring it up to modern times.”

And yes, as the Post-Dispatch reassures its readers, the signed Frank Sinatra photo will return to its place of honor once construction is complete.
