We've all been there. A project starts out with great promise, then flutters, eventually stalls and finally nose dives into the dustbin of architectural oblivion. In the end, the only thing left is the work itself: architecture that never made it off the paper.
Yet, the design persists. The shroud of secrecy gives it power. Living in the shadows, the design speaks: let me show myself!
Here are a few dreams that never made it to reality.
University building: glass and zinc
University Tech Incubator: the main stair follows the curve of the exterior. "Huddle" spaces are arranged along the stair for collaboration
University Auditorium: creating a 300 seat auditorium where the surrounding campus is equally as important as the subject matter of the class!
University Commons: sunlight, wood and granite come together to create a dynamic yet tranquil space for students to gather and study
